Its not so much about the age. More or less about what that video represents, which is imitating an actual obtainable ability. Its not like hes playing forza or something that he cant physically do in real life. But I guess you cant get good at the guitar in a few days, so whats the fun in that? It just blows my mind how parents let their kids get sucked into this shit because their too fucking lazy to spend time with them and would rather have television/internet/video games and popular culture as a whole raise them. I have a skewed opinion though because i was encouraged to play sports and music from an early age and not spend all my time in front of the tv.

While I can see how this game might help children develop insane hand/eye coordination... There's no chance in hell my kids will end of playing that much of any video game when there's so many chores I could be making them do around the house.

Theres been a few articles in the music media that skill at the game doesnt translate into skill on the instrument. On another note, it sucks to see someone in the throes of becoming someone who wont get laid and not be able to do anything about it. lol.
