I have always been into the Porter Cable stuff. I have both the 12 and the 14.4.

Hmmmm, that Bosch looks nice. But I'm still leaning toward the Milwaukee 18V li-ion. The batteries will last a lot longer between charges, it's still lighter than the Bosch, and again, it might seem silly to some, but that built-in hanger on the handle will be a godsend in most situations for me.

I know it's too small, but this is my fav Snap-On item I have bought in ages. Every tech at my shop use it as well, A top notch tool.
I can use it to run 4" drywall screws into a 2"x6"s for hanging lights, doing stuff around the house as well. A bit driver drill bit set with it and it will tackle most situations. I however dont think it's enough for a daily high end audio/video install tech. Maybe a backup for ladder work though.

Well, I bought the Milwaukee today. It's this one:
Got it at Platt for $199, came with 2 batteries, a charger, and a nice case. I used it for a while today, it's definitely got just as much if not more power than my 14.4 DeWalt did, and it weighs half as much. And just like I thought, the belt hanger is the best feature about it, not to mention, the batteries have a push-button idicator on the front of them to show how much juice is left. I'm really happy with it!

And it doesn't have that belt hook. :D I know I keep touching back on that fact, but even today when I first used it, it was a blessing. I was standing on the second from the top rung of a 18' ladder hanging a speaker bracket in a vaulted kitchen ceiling, and being able to just reach back and lift it off my belt was AWESOME.
Another one of the reasons I didn't get the Ridgid is because it doesn't come in a hard shell carrying case like the Milwaukee, it has a nylon bag, which doesn't have any kind of organization inside for the charger and batteries, and won't store as easily.
