      YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get what you are saying about the style of the Mil. It is different, and I don't understand why they aren't releasing the Ridgids in an extruded case like I have.... It's wierd. What I was saying about the drills is that they are made in the same factory now, so the internals are the same. If that drill works for you than awesome I am stoked you chose it. The Ridgid's charger is an aircooled charger that actually cools the batteries for a faster charging time. @ 15 minutes for a 14.4 This is my strap btw:

I am actually selling this set, but the impact is what I roll on a daily basis. I have a drill chuck for it in case I need to use a pinecone bit or a holesaw. It is awesome for driving self tappers and nuts. When it came out it had the most torque out of any 14.4 impact with @1400 foot pounds.
      Yours truly,

My Bosch deal fell through (out of stock) I got this on ebay nib full warranty 210.xx delivered. I am very happy.

The chuck and all moving parts are steel. I am on the hunt for a second battery & an impact that uses the same battery (19.2V LI ion)

That IR setup looks really nice. You can throw them in a toolbox and not even worry about breaking it.

Yesterday I really got the chance to put it through it's paces, and it did really well. For a smaller drill, this thing really has some torque! I think it said something like 455 lb. ft. on the website, and it really is powerful. I was using it most of the day with a 5/8" spade bit and a 1/2" auger bit to put holes through studs for wiring, and it was chewing right through. For the auger bit, I had to put it on the lower speed setting, but the spade bit tore right through everything even on the high-speed setting.

We have both DeWalt and Makita.
Makita works better for the long run.
