It's been a long time since I felt any kind of serious earthquake movement. It is weird though - everything hunky dory one minute, shit falling off the shelves the next.
Hope you SoCal guys are doing ok. And as mentioned, be prepared for some aftershocks. Those are almost a given.

Nice. It was pretty cool huh guys? We had a 7.something up here, and that was one of the coolest experiences I've been through. The floors looked like waves in the ocean and all the oil lamps in science class slid off the tables and blew up.
Everyone freaked out, but I thought it was cool as hell. I just sat there looking around while my teacher said, "Get down you idiot."

Aren't animals supposed to be able to predict earthquakes? If so, I think our cat is broken.
Also, this does not merit a thread, but have a W T F.
We really need a [CHAT] thread or something.
LOL OMG? W T F. I was going to post that over here. Search that kid. he post some obnoxious stuff..Comment

Damn we had one up here in norcal too a few months back. I wasn't scared, I never experienced an earthquake before so it took a while for me to register what the hell was going on.
On the other side of San Jose my friend was on his computer and the desk and everything started shaking...he thought his phone went off and was shaking the desk.Comment
