And let's not forget the band that created the whole movement, back in 1973: Kraftwerk. They are the foundation to anything electronic, including hip hop. The first hip hop track "Planet funk" from Afrika Bambaata was a rip-off from Kraftwerk's Trans Europe Express. Most initial electronic funksters will recognize Kraftwerk as an major influence. DM and all the followers too.

I never listened to DM until i uncovered a cover song of theirs...
enjoy the silence... i listened to it covered by a less than favorite band of mine
evergreen terrace...
i thought this cover was awsome... and so i had to know what to origonal sounded like... and well... i couldnt stand it... but thats fine
