Gov. incompetence in action: Audi S4 destroyed by tow truck...[Video]

This is really painful to watch.

You really got to be kidding me!

What kind of legal action could one take, and would insurance cover damage caused by the city?

I don't mean to be insensitive to their situation but it seems like a case of letting things get worse than they were. As soon as I were to see my car sitting on blocks, I would contact my insurance company, take numerous pictures and get my car on some kind of temporary wheels asap. The insurance company will reimburse you for shit like that.

I would not leave my car sitting on bricks for any longer than it took to locate some steelies or some shit.

On the same token, some of these tow truck drivers are some of the worse scumbags of the earth.

They said they had already ordered new wheels and were waiting for the dealership to get them in.

My sister and BiL leave on the hill, its amazing how $2 million dollar homes are a block or two from abject poverty and back to rich stuff again, really weird.

I can't imagine how much damage they did to that S4. Can you even tow a quattro (even with wheels) without damaging it?

They need to sue like crazy, and I hate superfluous litigation...

Two words for you: sovereign immunity

But if the tow truck was private and not city owned, that is another story, maybe.

They said they filed a police report, placed a copy of it under the windshield wiper and reported the damage to the insurance company. I don't know what more an average joe could do.

An that tow truck guy should be castrated.
