Well, it happens in the Ukraine.
Essentially, the Ukraine occupies Polish lands of Galicia with the capital Lviv. But Polish schools, Polish newspapers, Polish TV stations are banned.Comment

Well, that's how the plant that produced the first BMW automobiles looks like now.
It produced cars until the last days of Deutsche Demokratische Republik.
It's the same with Ukrainian billionaires who destroyed all factories that communists built in the Ukraine.

If I understand correctly, the Ukraine occupies Russian and Polish territories where 80% of people want to be with Russia or Poland.
The Ukraine deliberately destroyed economies of these territories.
Then, there are pro-American territories where Ukrainians expect to be rich by milking US and German taxpayers. It hasn't worked well, though.
If Biden gives $2 trillion to Ukrainians like in Afghanistan, Russia will have no chance.Comment

I guess somebody in your company opened a file from one of your buyers or sellers called "Invoice 1111" or "Bill 1111".Our company was a victim to one of these attacks, during the middle of the COVID pandemic - there was 2 weeks where we were shut down entirely and all of our data was basically gone. It was probably one of the scariest moments of my life. I happened to be one of the people who noticed the ransom notes and looked into who the attacker was and what it meant.
Thankfully, we worked together and were able to recover (and I don't know every detail - but I'm pretty sure we never paid those assholes a single cent). If you care about cybersecurity at all, you've probably read at least one article about the attackers in a news story somewhere during the last couple years.
Most likely, she had Windows, so she infected all computers in the company.
Those kinds of viruses have been around for decades, but Bill Gates doesn't want to fix the problem.Comment

That Russian in appearance T80 looks disabled, just not sure why that tanker took a hit from that direction. Also, if this was from today it would seem to corroborate the Russians scavenging/looting civilian gear for whatever reason.
It's the remnants of an engagement, it doesn't even begin to tell the whole story. However, we are seeing quite a few Russian KIAs being left behind after action, compared to relatively few Ukrainians, but this is probably output bias.
When the battle in Kyiv starts and Russians cannot discriminate between armed and unarmed civilians we will start to see far worse things than a few dead soldiers, provided the Ukrainian side of the story can get out with internet being effectively down.
It also seems that Russia had not fully committed as many of their forces as previously thought, and unless Ukraine takes forces from the western side of the country and is able to redistribute them, they are effectively out of first line replacements. Basically, despite serious setbacks Russian forces continue to advance, and only time will tell if the Russian people will tolerate the loss of life we are about to hear about.Comment
