yeah, I don't know what I'm talking about. They just happened to double my interest rate right after obama passed laws that prevent credit card companies from setting rates based on risk.

I don't honestly think I can vote for him for reelection unless all his very unconstitutional meddlings actually fix the situation, which I doubt.

If the Republican ticket can somehow move back to the financial conservatism and away from the outright bigotry, I would vote for them. Until they do....I may not vote at all if the Democrats are going to be like Obama. Boo Hiss.

lol, And that's the best argument you can come up with? lol

Yep, it takes a while for the government to come to your rescue. Why? Because
                a) They are not supposed to rescue us in this kind of situation. Their "rescuing" is what put us in this spot in the first place.
                b) They are completely and utterly irresponsible because they are not trying to rescue anything, they are trying to force their agenda and further their political goals. That's the worst possible kind of leadership.

Saying everybody else is stupid and don't know shit is exactly the same as promising hope and change; it isn't worth the time it took to say it.

For those of you who were impressed by Obama during the election. I want to ask yourself what impressed you about him. Answer yourself honestly. Was it what he said, the real meaning behind his words? Or was it how he said it; the imagery that he painted? Think about your answer the next time you go to vote.

^^^ applause!! I too often wonder what people were actually hearing. I often heard what obama said and thought to myself ... that wasn't an answer. Not saying the McCain had the best answers either but what I did hear more than anything when obama spoke was money draining from my wallet. I can honestly say that the state of our government has me sick!
Someone in a previous post said something about not voting next time if they did not like the other candidate ... that is just bad logic. We are supposed to vote for the "best" candidate. In my mind not voting is not an option.
I really hope things turn around. But I know in reality it isn't going to happen. Socialism here we come!

I totally agree with you. You did what you thought was right. And no one should beat you up for it personally. I happened to see through his words. He's a great speaker and that's it so far.
I ended up not voting at all. This last election I didn't have someone to vote for. They all sucked.

Part of me wants Obama to make me wrong. The other part knows he doesn't have a fucking clue what he's doing.

                      Exactly and great question.

Government has no right to own any business, period. Let alone give money we don't have to failing businesses in hopes they don't fail.
Now the American public has to somehow fit the bill and so will my daughter and her kids and my great grand kids etc.
It's straight up sickening to see.

Nothing wrong with that. It happened a tiny bit with me then he kept on talking about things he can't possibly get done. With not an ounce of a plan to back his sweet words.
