Why on God's green earth would they be beaten to a pulp? For purposely wearing an American flag on Cinco de Mayo? You can't be serious. It's not like they were wearing something anti-Mexico, and even if they were, does that warrant violence?

No, it doesn't warrant violence, but that doesn't mean there wouldn't be, especially in a high school. What I am saying is that we don't know the situation. Maybe they got their independence days mixed up, maybe they are just super patriotic like some of the members on this forum make themselves out to be, or maybe they were trying to start shit.
