I'm open-minded, so many people think I'm a liberal, but unlike others, I think that while what happened is unfortunate, it is not a disaster. It is simply the ultimate consequence of representing yourself as something you are not. And that something is an American citizen.

It's sad the system is so broken that it didn't catch her early on, but that doesn't mean we need to let her and others like her slide on by....

its sad that alot of these immigrants are more prepared and willing to work than average americans,allowing them to get residency would help the economy by making them tax payers, it always comes to question when the rednecks are upset they took their jobs but in reality its their own laziness and unwillingness to do labor for cheap that hurts them, im sure no one wants to do cheap labor thats why they exploit these people i personally think its wrong, im not saying let em in and legalize them, but they need better opportunities because unless u get married to an american citizen, you could be 10 years in this country being unable to advanced, do you know how much tuition fees are undocumented inmmigrants compared to your average joe? somewhere about 3-4x the amount

i'm a college student myself so i said, let her finish her year at the university first because making your way to a university is not easy.after that they can continue from there...america have the best education and everyone want a piece of it. Plus she made it that far in college. most of the high school citizens grad don't even go to college after HS. she work hard and she deserve to finish it.

She's an illegal immigrant. She has no right to be in this country, let alone be allowed to finish her education while here. I'd be willing to bet money she gets money to attend college through financial aid.

It's a sad situation and it sucks for her, but what she did is illegal, and as such, she must suffer the consequences.

We already get sales tax on the money they spend here. They will have no Federal Income tax liability given their income, the bottom 45% of wage earners have no FI tax liability at the end of the year, the bottom 40% actually make money.

So if we legalize a bunch of illegals working for minimum wage with families, we've actually just cost ourselves even more money. They will continue to get the benefits they have previously been getting, but now be eligible for all other types of social programs.
