I will agree with you 100%

but again I will ask what did you want to hear? as opposed to just pointing fingers and calling names, say something constructive and well thought out. As a resident of an area that can be greatly impacted it effects me more than most of you.

What I heard was this, we have the best minds in world working on this problem and none of them know what to do.

I do not expect the president to be an expert in this field, I respect Bobby Jindal for his actions, I still think he is a tool bag, but a tool bag that is doing the tight thing for home and mine at this point in time.

I was talking to a buddy about this whole oil spill situation, and he came up with a pretty interesting theory on the whole thing. He, and I agree with him to a point, thinks it's really weird that it's been almost 2 months now, with no concrete plan in place from either BP or the government. Granted the conditions of where the spill is make it extremely hard to do something, I find it strange that within 60 days, there hasn't really been a legit plan. Also take into consideration that the numbers of barrels that are leaking vary extremely. It went from a conservative 1,000 bpd to now 60,000 bpd, and there is evidence that it is actually leaking up to 100,000 bpd.

He brought up the interesting point that there is actually no way for this entire situation to be fixed, and both BP and the government are aware of it. Maybe the well can't be plugged, or maybe the actual sea floor has cracked and is leaking oil up. Something to think about.
