Mostly gays have struck up problems to push forward their agendas just so they can be more anti religion. Because religion is what they see as their enemy.

Well, that is one thing I do agree with them on. The govt shouldnt have a hand in religion. If the Episcopalians want to allow gays to marry then it should be legal for them to marry whatever. Marriage isnt a govt construct, its a religious thing. The govt can regulate what tax breaks they get, fine (although its social engineering, I disagree with that too) but it has no say in what religion can do.

Of course, on the same coin we need to ditch the exemptions. Religions should have open books, pay taxes and be legally liable just like any other business. Since that is what they are.

I am 100% with you on this. This country was founded upon Christan values, end of story, they are ingrained into the inner workings of this country.

I live my life with the basic rules of, be good to thy neighbor and do un to others, but with out the magic man in the sky ruling my every thought of eternity. and I had better be good wont live for ever in milk and honey land.

If you feel oppressed by by the churchies GROW THE FUCK UP suck it and BE a MAN about it, they have just as much right believe in what they do as we do. You have to understand some thing GOD was set up to be a integral part of our society and your faith, what ever it may be. Thats why you can worship what ever you want and the state cant endorse 1 faith as a state religion over another. Your faith was to be your moral compass if you will, in your interaction with others, so the state would not have to get involved and there could be as little govt as possible. Example if you have have a dispute with your neighbor you cant resolve, you go to you neighbor hood (church normally) to seek a fair resolution, the bulk of the power was to remain in the hands of the people to govern them selves and resolve the disputes them selves with out having to bring the state or the courts into it.

Face it GOD is not leaving our lives, from interaction with others. You dont believe in the flying spaghetti monster in the sky thats fine DONT. But you have no rights, to look down upon some one else because they do. If you think all our lives would be great and Utopian with out the peoples faiths you would be sorely mistaken just as mistaken as anyone who thinks socialism is a good thing (oh wait same coolaid Never mind). Now the church leader ship is like any other big power hungry, organization no different than govt, and needs a revamp I will give you guys that.

i believe absolutely that marriage should be a religion only thing. we should create something different for the legal side and call it, "legal union" or some bullshit. BUT WHILE MARRIAGE IS STILL CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT IT SHOULD BE APPLICABLE TO ALL 18+ CONSENTING CITIZENS.
