Jaywalking in Seattle is a bad idea. This happened a while ago, but the video is just being released. A mentally handicapped kid was stopped for jaywalking, and he ended up getting his ass kicked by three cops.

Now, the one a while back where the cop punched the girl in the face is okay with me. She had that coming IMO.

my brother was driving, with his gf and my sister in the car. they were making a left turn through an intersection when an unmarked cop ran the redlight, t-boned and spun them and then sped off. and hit another car up the road.

an off duty detective witnessed the event, and ran up to them saying he is a cop and he saw what happened, dont worry, he saw the other car run the redlight.

well, apparently after he found out it was a cop who hit them he was very tight lipped.

we had to argue with our insurance company to make sure it was not called at-fault accident for my brother. and a year and a half later, nothing has happened. luckily, the insurance company decided to not say my brother was at fault. but, they just decided to eat it. they arent even going to go after the police dept. for the $20k in auto+medical damages.

where are the good cops that joined to protect and serve? shouldnt they be calling this stuff out from within? i hear stories like this every day. sure, they do a lot to help the community. but when one of their own fucks up, they all cover for him. its better than diplomatic immunity. if they refuse to stand up for what's right, that means they're all crooked.
