I should become a Christian so I can justify all my bad deeds knowing God will forgive me each time I do them. As long as i ask for forgiveness after each one. Damn what A life that could be.
Atheists at it again...

Anyone who studied biblical history know that Christmas was an event the Catholic church put together to sway people from the Pagans, and not the celebration of the time at which Christ was born. History shows he was born in the spring. Where's all the true protestants? The pope is the devil.Comment

Maybe you could do us all a favor and spread that same message to the rest of your Christian friends. God knows they haven't gotten the message. Oh look what I did there...Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Ah, but strangely everyone seems to be doing exactly to "Christians" on a whole what they are accused of doing. Judging all unrighteously. I'd love to change everyone's perception of Christians by first changing many Christians hearts as that's really the issue. Then again, I've advised people over and over again to check out Marshillchurch.org and really take a good look at what Bible teaching from the Bible, not from someone's "perception of reality" looks like. Also, Timothy Keller's works are amazing. As are C.S. Lewis.
There are what we call Open hand and Closed hand subjects in Christianity. It's less about everyone else on most subjects of life, ect, and far more about the work Christ does in someone.
But, I wont waste time unless anyone's interested, Via PM discussing it. Why? Because the Bible says, "Go, give Witness of Me," not, "Go, bug the shit out of people". Witness is less throwing Verses about how people are going to Hell or what they should or should not be doing. It's about telling those God has put in your life about what God has done in your own, personal life and how you've responded.
You're right though, Josh. Not a lot of Christians are just that, genuine Christians. That doesn't mean I throw God under the bus and run around degrading those that God has done genuinely good works in. If you feel the need to turn from your own bad experiences, and I hope they are at least personal and not far off instances you feel worthy of sitting back and judging from afar, and condemn a Faith because of it, well, it's rarely worth trying to talk with or even debate. Lee is a prime example.

I've known quite a few like him, but also many who were not. But I do have a hard time with the guys that want to "offer me their testimony" about how Jesus saved them and all when they're actually high! LOL
Oh well.....Comment

Christ says something to the effect that the gates of heaven are small and many who think they're going, arn't.
Fancis Chan's book is also very illuminating. "Crazy Love". Recommend that as well. And I'm not recommending these books to "convert" anyone, keep that in mind. Rather, if you want to do good to Christians that claim a lot of bullshit but turn around, and as you said, Mar1, chase skirts, get drunk every night and only offer their testimonies High as eff, know what they claim to be. Any of the above books should be sufficient amunition for destroying their retardedly concieved notions of what it is to be a Christian.Need a part? PM me.

Francis Chan my brother... My mom's church is reading that book as well. I believe its sitting in my room at the moment. Also, I spent 12 years in a christian school, I have been going to church since I was born... I know all too well that what people think of the average "christian" is true. It's unfortunate, but that's the world we live in. I personally rarely claim to be a christian because I don't live my life by the Bible in any way... I'm a prodigal son if you will.Originally posted by ak-Support is where it's at. Like a bra. This guy has his bra off though. He lives dangerous and shameless; i like him.Comment

I have met "good Christians". As good as I can imagine they come anyways. The type that will allow someone they don't know into their home to help them out and that donate their time for what they see as a good cause. But I don't solely judge Christianity by looking at Christians.
The bible is full of love, good will and good ideas but also includes brutality immorality and murder.
So even if the bible were 100% proven as true, I would never and could never follow a god, being or person that thinks because they are the creator that it's okay to wipe out whole cities or promote some of the other things that I see as plain fucked up that are in the bible.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

What Immorality are you refering too besides that of Men in the Bible (Moses: a complete waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles that begrudgingly did what God wanted, Abraham: a drunk hick that passed out naked in random places... ect)? God's immorality? Because he wiped out whole cities full of people raping everyone, ect? Because their "morality" permitted it, it should have, in front of a Perfect being been okay? Heh, there's consequences to your actions. Taken wooden literally you could draw some pretty fucked up conclusions about the Bible. BUT, again, we can continue this via PM if you're actually interested in talking.
In regards to the thread, show some respect and everythings gravy. No reason for animosity, demeaning comments that are unfounded.
