Yeah but both are great ads. Glad they both put up billboards. so you both pumped money into circulation. What ever. -
There is a big deal locally since the Christmas Parade was renamed the Holiday Parade.
I'm an atheist, but Christmas Parade is ok with me. It's the original reason for the celebration (well as long as you ignore the Pagans who started a winter solstice celebration).
I don't know, I just really think most people should EAD or DIAF whilst doing so.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

i think everyone needs to man up and stop getting offended at everything. (not people on this board, just everyone who is griping out there in general).
Yeah, I am a christian, but the atheist billboard doesn't bother me. It just seems like some atheists are telling other atheists that they can still celebrate during Christmas. I mean, who DOESN'T want to celebrate?Comment

Its a fact? A baby was born in an uninsulated manger in the dead of winter in Jerusalem? Please, its pretty obvious the man wasn't born in the dead of winter and most historical texts point to the use of the winter solstice celebrations used by the religions that predated Christianity in order to ease the conversion of the common people.
Im getting a little tired of it. Not as much because of the Christians themselves but because of the commercialism of it. Now, because of the retailers, there is pressure for Christmas to last 3 months.Im now E30less.

"You know it's real". Yeah sure. Show me some proofs. Go walk on the Hudson river. Transform sewer water into ice cold lagger.
I am an atheist. My parents are atheists. My grandfather was atheist (my granny was a bigot tough ;-) ). But I do celebrate Christmas as part of the Judeo-Christian tradition and culture that is the backbone of this part of the world. Period. All Europeans and Americans are part of the Judeo-Christian culture. No need to change it. Just don't bring your personal religion into the equation. It's called tradition.
If I were leaving in the Middle East, I would probably integrate and be part of Ramadan, even though I would't celebrate it religiously. Or Shabbat. Or whatever.

^^^ Wasn't Jesus a terrorist in its time? Trying to collapse the merchants' economy by giving free fish and bread. Making fun of the liquor commission by turning water into wine.
Jesus was a Black Moses.
