Yeah IIRC its the SWISS where every Home has a GUN or 2 and ammo provided by the govt. And all men are trained how to use them.

fail.
you recall incorrectly. simply googling for the first hit is not an answer.
but lets take the swiss as an example. you say that every home has a gun, well that doesnt mean much if people are out in the street. and to be sure, you "conveniently" left out the fact that most swiss males own guns because of conscription. the way you so easily phrased it makes it seem like the government just hands out guns to everyone willy nilly. which is not the case. they are not allowed to take these guns in public. they are military service weapons. are the service members in our military the most polite people? i think not. and please remember, i've had first hand experience (with arguably our roughest branch.)
so... going back to your little idea... all males of age for conscription owning guns and the swiss being very polite does not even show a correlation, much less causation.
please try again. and feel free to keep using the swiss as an example to demonstrate why they are polite. because it is not fire arms.AWD > RWDComment

Why don't you try your failing hand at pulling up those that shoot people wrongfully that had a concealed permit. You wont find many and there's a reason for that. You fail every time....lol. "The balance of power is the scale of peace. The same balance would be preserved were all the world not destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside ... Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them ... the weak will become prey to the strong."

I don't care about guns people can have them. Personally I think they get boring after 5 minutes. I think the issue is how the republicans were bringing guns into politics. Check it out http://gawker.com/5728545/shot-congr...ins-crosshairs

Are you attempting to take personal credit for the American Revolution?
Also, FYI, gun control was not a political issue in 1776. Everyone had guns. The U.S. won the Revolutionary War because Britain was fighting 3 or 4 wars at the same time (and the French came to help the Americans).Comment
