I find it hard to understand why the the word "Illegal" holds no meaning when used in the same sentence as "immigrant" or "alien". When can we apply the same logic to things like "illegal weapons" "illegal substance" and so on. If we choose to ignore the fact that illegal is ILLEGAL, then why have laws against it in the first place?Comment

I have lived in Ca. most of my life and i cannot wait to get the hell out of here. You can take a drivers test in 26 different languages but the signs are in english???hhhmmm. The schools have to send report card home in spanish, have to have a translator in class for parent teacher day. The schools have to dumb down teaching because most of the class does not understand english. I drive down the street and 50% of the store signs are not in english. I walk in a place to eat and i'm the only person speaking english. Oh, and now lets pay for your kids education while i have to save 100k for my kid..yep, thats fair.

i guess i dont understand because i went to private schools all my life, until college. then i went to UMBC, a state honors college.
