Please explain the hundreds of thousands of other times that people have been on the verge of death, called out to God, and then proceeded to die excruciatingly painful deaths.

Also the times that people have been on the verge of death, did not call out to God (or even called out to a different god), and then were saved.

    Thanks.

But back to your comment I think that would be to easy if he just "prooved" clearly he existed like your wanting, and it would void the the whole faith componant of believing in God that the new testiment is based on. I think Ephesians 2:8 shows what im talking about even though there are better verses out there. Hope that helps I appreciate your thoughts
Please for the sake of everyone, stop using proof in referencing anything having to do with your faith. You clearly have no understanding of what qualifies as proof.

But when? Pretty sure people have been claiming his "return" since the last time it is postulated he was around. You're like the sad dog on the porch convinced his dead master is going to come home someday. Time to accept that if it quack's like a duck, it's a duck....and jebus aint comin'.

We dont know when the end times are... Mathew 24:44, "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." Strait from Jesus' mouth and mentioned tons of other places in the bible. I have a sense of humor so your mocking makes me laugh just because I know one day when your on the verge of death and you call out to God for help and he saves you, you'll be pumped on Him like I am, and if you wouldnt get pumped on something like that your weird ;-)

Maybe it's evidence enough for you, but it's certainly not proof for us nor has anything ever been presented which is irrefutable proof of god.

Just look in the bible for your deep answers or ask a follower that you think is genuine, use your instincts and you can pray to Him and he will answer I guarantee it, Good luck everyone
What a lot of theists can't seem to understand is that book holds absolutely no meaning for non-believers, so referencing it has little to no strength or purpose. It's as factual to us as Lord of the Rings is to you, and I doubt you would truly believe if I told you 1000 years from now that Frodo was the savior for the selfless sacrifices he made by destroying to ring.

As for prayer, you cannot guarantee that. And please don't use the cope out that your god doesn't always give us what we want but what we need, it's simply an excuse to dance around the fact that nothing resulted from your desires other than that which you made happen yourself.

Good question z3,You have to excuse my somewhat newness to being a believer but in my almost 2 years as a follower I'm still gettting into that part, but if you want to hear my opinion here it is :) I think predestined stuff is a touchy subject between believers and non believers, but what I have to say about that is, I think God has specific things he wants us to learn. "God has a plan" is biblical I dont know any exact verses from the top of my head but I think thats meaning you can still go to the store and by apples, and that was your choice but If he has some major events planned they will happen, I dont think every single event is "controlled" by him, I think He allows things to happen. Again thats just my opinion from what I have learned from my believer, Don't base your life of what I just said, read into it and I'm willing to help you find some verses if you want to look more into it too :)
