this is so sad... i saw the movie two nights ago and I couldn't help but sit and imagine the situation...especially at those eerily quiet suspenseful moments during the movie. I could just imagine all the people sitting around me running in panic others collapsing from their wounds. i was with a lady friend and the moments felt so surreal it was bizzare.

sick and twisted. humanity will always be crazy within itself. there's always at least one willing to do something inhumane.

Well might as well put my 2 cents in.

I think the US needs to change it gun laws, guns are way too readily available for you guys.

But on saying that is it not just that simple. The biggest issue is that everybody has a fucken gun over there. If the US was to simply change the laws now it would do nothing. There are too many guns around to effectively try and have some form of gun control. That is just how I see it.

Now lots of people are going on about how gun control won’t stop people from getting a hold of a gun. Well I beg to differ, I know you hear about shootings here in Aus here and there. Well they are from bikie gangs 99% of the time, the last gun massacre was Port Author which was back in the 90s. For me to go and buy an un-registered gun, well I don't even know where to start.

No bikie is going to sell me a gun. Yeh I probably could look up how to make guns, pretty sure ASIO and the AFP will be watching me after that. So no it is not that easy to just go get a gun, yes there are m16, ar15, rocket lunches, grenades ect ect in Australia, but if you think any criminal can just go and get one then you are kidding yourself.

I will say that some people I know who love there hunting have acquired some illegal bits and pieces through registered gun dealers, e.g silencers. But they only got a hold of this stuff because they have been buying legal stuff from this guy for years, and one of my acquaintances holds a semi-auto shot gun licenses, which if you know Australian gun laws is very hard to get a hold of.

          To summaries.

          - USA needs control guns
          - That is not easy because the amount of weapons readily available
          - Gun control dose work
          - Gun control can make it difficult for a criminal to get a gun

We have tried that and we have plenty of gun control laws as is on the books. Not to mention we have constitutional protections to them.

Again we have plenty of gun laws, see the NFA of 1936 (National Firearms Act.) and the GCA of 1986 (gun control act) and the dismal Fail that was the expired AWB. But I will say at least you understand to a point.

Well your assaults have gone up and you gun homicide have stayed flat to preban rates, you gun suicide has gone down but the rate has stayed mostly flat. You really have not done anything in the way of crime or gun crime with it other than limit the ability of law abiding citizens to protect them selves from bad people.

It not hard, but there is lots of hoops you have to go though to get an NFA tax stamp item, anything with full auto or suppressors, or Short barrels and so on. Its not like you see in the movies, we can have that stuff but it takes time and a willingness to submit to the feds to get them, if you live in a state that lets you have them as well. There have been 2 crimes in decades in the country that have been committed with a NFA item, and 1 of them was a COP with a department owned weapon. As to those of us that have a CCW permit, less than 1% of gun crime is committed by CCW permit holders.

We have gun controls and depending on the state you live in you something like you have in upsidedown land to mostly just minimum federal regs. The places with all the laws have the most and worst crime rates across the board as well. Gun control only limits those who obey the law no more no less, you even admit this in your post.

I am sorry you sound very conflicted about this yourself.

It is a difficult topic no matter how you look at it, like I said I don't believe in guns, but I understand why people want them, and they fact that stopping criminals from having them is not just a matter of gun control. That is why I sound confused probably because I am lol.

I just hope there is a solution someday.

Christian Bale meets with Aurora theater shooting victims. Warner Brothers says its on his own time and not on the company's behalf. Why? BECAUSE HE'S THE GODDAMN BATMAN THAT'S WHY.

Thats why you keep that gun hot with one in the hole so you dont have to make a sound. You rack it in the middle of the night you give up your most precious advantage. SURPRISE!!!!!! You dont want the fuck head that breaks into your home to know that your not only Awake and aware of their presence, but to the fact that you are ARMED and ready, and you have just told him WHERE YOU ARE IN THE HOUSE. You want all that to be a big fucking surprise.

But the unmistakable sound of a 12ga racking in the dark and knowing your going to be on the business end of it would be enough to make your blood run cold. There is a reason the Germans wanted the shotty to be banned from warfare after WW I

Excellent response Sleeve. It's the people, not the guns. I can go into the deep web right now and buy two unregistered Glock 19's with silencers for $1,600 right now. There's nothing stopping me if that was my objective. If criminals want guns, they will get guns. We have plenty of gun control, just fucking nut cases.

Yeah I'm with you on that. He's a smart guy, he could be just acting insane for his plea. Besides, Colorado hasn't executed anyone in 40 years, he has nothing to worry about but life in prison-and getting SHANKED on the yard hopefully.
