Not that it matters but, gays?

Having going to a university with a large liberal arts college I did learn one really awesome thing about having a high population of gay guys around:
less competition. Seriously, at the University of Kansas women already outnumbered men. Throw into the fact that we had the highest percentage of men who werent interested in them of Universities in the area made it like shooting fish in a barrell.
I have yet to find a situation where gays are a threat to me: You cant catch it so I don't have to worry about getting the ghey, they aren't trying to steal my women and they are considerably less likely to steal/hurt/murder than any other group (That is why they are soo good at gentrification; they move into the ghetto, don't commit crime and decorate the place all lovely. Makes property values too high for the criminals).Leave a comment:

It may not be normal in a sense of percentage of population, but only a very closed mind would make the automatic leap to the idea that being gay is somehow both aberrant and abhorrent.
Gays have existed throughout history. They are not a product, as the religious right would have us believe, of the liberalization of sexual mores that occurred the 1960'sLeave a comment:

For the record im anti pda. I get fucking sick watching ANYONE get all over their partner in public. To suggest we need to have more heterosexual couples hamming it up in public to encourage "normal" relationships its so far out there.... I believe youre being offended by the in yourface nature of "im here im queer get used to it" because its part of winning a civil rights battle. Imagine all the militant feminists and black rights advocates in the 60's. talk a bout a mind fuck for people with a closed view of whats acceptable in society. It's going to remain in your face to you deal with it, treat the lgbt community like the humans they are, and just get the fuck over it.Leave a comment:

the original line was "pursuit of life liberty and property". But the founders feared, that the south would use that as a justification and precedent for the constitutionality of the practice of slavery. So the words property was changed to happiness, aka property.
during the founding and early colonization in the states, there were many examples of black people holding public office, business, and treated the very same as anyone else in fact the 1st true slave owner in the colonies was a black man him self!!!Leave a comment:

The constitution says in some words "all men are created equal" and "the right to pursue happiness" To me that states everyone is equal and everyone can do what they want when it comes to partners. Gay rights to me, is a civil rights issue and they deserve to have what I have, as a hetro male.Leave a comment:

Let the world live it's path. Whatever you want to believe keep on doing so and do not worry whether or not another persons beliefs are right or wrong. We all have our own lives, treat each other with the respect you expect, and just keep it moving.
Some people will have shitty lives and some will have splendid ones. It's no use in dragging out debates that get absolutely nowhere. There will be no way any lifestyle or beliefs will be removed from the face of the earth. You can definitely try and be the next Hitler but we all know how that shit would turn out.
Let's stop getting offended and just be happy that you are alive and well.
Just my two cents, I'm a Christian and I believe that there is a God and I can totally understand the whole there is no physical proof aspect of it but religion is not like science it's not all "when I see it I'll believe it" type deal. It involves faith which is something that needs to be experienced. Kinda like one of those "you had to be there" type stories. If you never experienced it you won't ever understand. May seem very naive and idiotic to some of you but that's fine. I will live my life how I prefer to live it. I will not impose religion upon you as long as you do not try to go out of you way to disprove my beliefs.
Leave it at "I believe there is a God" or "There is no God"Leave a comment:

This world of ours needs a good ole fashion Noah-style cleansing in my opinion.
We're due for one.Leave a comment:

It's pretty ironic of you to call yourself a Christian and then say that you think for yourself. Thinking for oneself is definitely not the Christian way. You have the bible remember?Eh its not an unknown. its pretty obvious if you just open your eyes and look around rather than just believing everything you see in the media. Im blessed at 21 with a wonderful life, wealth, a gorgeous wife, can go on and on. I've never been in need for anything and all I've done is have faith that my God will take care of me and chose to believe what I feel is right and not what the fake Christians most people think of believe because unlike most people in this world I can think for myself.
Yeah, attribute all the good things in your life to god instead of your own hard work and the hard work of others. I bet you're the kind of guy that would thank god for miraculously healing a dying relative instead of the hard working and knowledgeable doctors that actually did the job. And the worst part of it all, is that Christians preach everything from on top of a moral soap box. Well I will tell you what buddy, your beliefs are NOT moral. In fact, much of what the bible preaches is the exact opposite of morality.
And don't even get me started on the blind worship and belief in the absolute infallibility of the bible. Do you realize that the bible is a form of idolatry? Something that the bible itself prohibits.Last edited by LBJefferies; 10-13-2012, 10:47 PM.Leave a comment:
