If people are forced to keep accepting the gross an unmoral ways people want to be this world because its 'politicaly correct' the world is gonna be even more messed up than it already is. Its gotta stop somewhere.
Looking at a dude and thinking 'my that is a nice hairy butt hole' or some of the Shit you here gays talk bout is just not natural.
Opposites attract alikes should repel. Common sense.
Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness yes. But if having sex with children makes you happy then I guess we all will have to accept that too.
Dude+women= Gods natural way of life
Dude+dude= wrong and gross. Maybe all that aids gays kept getting was a sign maybe they should stop. -
I've read of study that found that typically LGBT youth experience, on the average, thirty eight, anti-gay comments per day. This kind of barrage is extremely hurtful and destructive and, Kershaw, I really appreciate your outspokenness on this issue. You are a real stand-up guy. There have been quite a few others who have taken a positive stand in this thread and I appreaciate you all.Leave a comment:

im pretty sure you can choose to look in another direction. or would you rather have their lives and liberties regulated, so you dont have to see something you think is gross? i would think that would go against your views on the government.
this thread is turning out better than expected.
no, i could care less what people decide to call me. they are not my friends, i could give 2 shits what they think. i really take this issue to heart because i have a lot of gay friends who just brush this kind of shit off like it's just no big deal. they are so used to this denigration that is ingrained in society against the LGBTQ community that they dont really notice it anymore. that is really unacceptable to me. even if they are passively accepting of the violation of their rights, i'll white knight for them. i really take the whole "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" seriously. i think racism is wrong. i think sexism is wrong. i think bigotry is wrong.Last edited by Kershaw; 10-12-2012, 08:25 PM.Leave a comment:

The difference is I'm choosing to watch that movie. Just like if I were to choose to walk into a flamingly (flamingly only as an example because it's the epitome of gay) gay bar. Or if I chose to speak with a Christian who was trying to proselytize me to his religion. So I take it you hate everything in society? Like James Bond? I bet you hate that franchise. Also, I bet you hate BMW or anything else with a cultural identity.
I can't believe you don't think that taking your kid to see a movie, letting them watch tv, read the newspaper, etc is not pushing beliefs on them. Society is based on pushing your normative beliefs on others. It's not a group unless you have some underlying belief or view that ties all members together.
Showing your kids Dr. No, Die Hard 2, or Expendables is forcing your kid to see a very hetero normative view point. If you think movies are not influential, you need to reconsider your views.
Don't believe me? Fine. Consider this, when a group is ostracizing an individual, the easiest way to get them to modify their behavior is for an authority figure to point out that they aren't really very differently, ie, they are all Americans, or Christians, or car lovers, or big titty lovers.., etc
Lost, no worries, you're not going to get flamed. The bigots here are really only concerned about gays, not lesbians. I've been called gay quite a few times by them and read quite a few hateful things they've posted. Believe me, they'd rather call me a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, than you rugmuncher or w/e.Leave a comment:

Yup I am much the same way, when I am home and we are together. I happen to love bacon and steak for that matter as well, and have at the minimum a conversation a week about it. All though I do this mostly with other like minded individuals, as I dont know anyone that has rejected the yummy goodness that is bacon.Leave a comment:

I'll admit it, I went to the SF one in June and I've gotta say it was fucking fun. I got hit on an uncountable amount of times, free drinks, plenty of laughs, and it was all in all good company. Yes, there are those who take it completely overboard, then there's the ones who just embrace their identity and want to be socially accepted rather than ostracized.Leave a comment:

In my opinion, PDA is just plain childish. A quick kiss on the cheek or lips is fine. Having a couple slobbering and grabbing each other in public is pretty indecent.
I admit that I am quite insecure and for lack of better word unconfident. So I do find myself to be jealous when I see a guy and girl being flamboyant.
With all that said, to be on thread topic being gay or knowing gays is nothing. They are humans just like the rest of us and should be treated as such.Leave a comment:

I do this in grocery stores, Lowes, walking in the park, etc all the time.

Fuck, I grab my girlfriends ass (or goose her) on the way up the stairs and talk about how much I love bacon on a daily basis. And Im not being sarcastic. I really do love the female ass and bacon and Im proud of it.why do gay people have to go around showing that they are gay? Straight people don't go around showing they are straight. Same thing for Vegans, if you eat meat you don't go around saying "hay guys I eat meat" but vegans always have to be saying "no I don't eat meat, I'm vegan, you should try it". Who gives a shit, just be you, don't need to televise it.
Speaking of, its pride weekend in Atlanta.Leave a comment:

Crazy Im on the PDX E28 group, I almost moved to pdx because of its openess. Ill pm you then we can chat etc.I haven't seen you on R3V before, nice to meet you. I guess you could say that I grew up dressing and acting like a boy. I was a tomboy and had boy-short hair starting from about age 5 until about middle school.
I wanted short hair like my aunt's, who was a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy and whom I looked up to. Kids always used to ask me "Are you a boy or a girl?"
It never bothered me luckily. I was my own person and didn't live up to the gender stereotypes. I loved to play with "boys toys" such as cars and action figures, but I also liked Barbies. A couple of my best friends were boys and a couple were girls. I was and am adventurous and love to take chances and get dirty. I guess I am still a "tom-boy" today but I never felt different like you say.
What do you mean, felt different? Like, you felt different because you were attracted to other girls, or because you were more like a tomboy? Did you start Male testosterone because you were more like a boy (tomboy), or because you liked girls?Leave a comment:

If you didnt know,im a Lesbian. When i was a child I Always felt different, and couldn't understand what was going on. When i was around 7 i started dressing and acting like a boy. The doctors felt i was Transgendered.
When i was 17 I started Male testosterone. Around 18 I realized that I didn't wanna to be a become a boy,and stopped,I just acted and dressed like one.
I am What they call Androgynous,I can go between and look either sex.
I Will agree that alot of people say there gay when there not, Girls for example. Alot of them do it for the attention.
I have a few friends who are Transgendered M2F. And the biggest type of Guy they get,The straight male. Ive been clubbing with them,at both Gay and straight clubs and the guy will try to go to town on them knowing she has junk in her skirt.
I can understand how people dont wanna get the gay card thrown in there face, its weird. Yes some Gay people go overboard.
The ones who say "I can convert you" Stfu! No one wants you do that. argh!
All we want is to be is left alone,it gets really old Having to show people your carrying a knife to leave you alone.

It occurs to me that the "loud and proud" group are performing a public service when a gay male hits on a straight male. That uncomfortable feeling of having to deal with an unwanted advance might (hopefully) modify the behavior of some hetero creepers towards women. Here's hoping for a less misogynistic world.Leave a comment:
