Agreed, president is addressing right now. Pictures of the kids exiting the school that have been released have me feeling helpless.
The emotion Obama showed is so telling of what a horrific tragedy this is. We can't forget about the ones that preceeded today, but when it's children of this age group, you can't begin to even wonder what was going on...
They are announcing that the mom was found dead, and the brother was found dead in NJ. This is the news, but still not completly confirmed in my mind.

An on site officer for every school is out of budget but I wonder if they could improve lock down procedures. I would think just another whack job, an actual mental case tho.

I will say this. The school had a procedure, but every procedure is susceptible to scrutiny and to some one finding a weakness. That is why such procedures change constantly.

How the misuse of social media potentially ruined the reputation of an innocent young man namned Ryan Lanza.







It is a tragic event and a definite display of a complete lack of humanity, but we shouldn't be so quick to retaliate with hate and accusation as to bring down mankind further. Those quick to make gun control or rights statements on the day of are in poor taste and selfish. We should be coming together, not dividing and fighting, or pointing fingers.
