Let them draw up their own borders. They're still very much tribal. Grouping them all together as we did after WW1 was stupid, but it was a different time, and we can't go back and undo it. We just need to sit back and let them do what they do now. If they threaten the US directly, intervene, but we're not the world police.

Well I think that taking the time to express one's concern with a grave action to our elected officials is important. Trust me, I've been heavily involved with political battles at even local levels and the $$ talks even there. I'm determined to stay involved. It's more productive than hand-wringing.

so far is was just a committee vote and it still has to go before the full senate floor. Still along way till insanity ensues but I dont have any kinda faith that we will not be stupid about this
