I immediately thought about this too. Think of all the debris still caught in the shifting currents after the huge earthquake/tsunami in Japan a few years ago. They still don't have everyone accounted for (read: washed out to sea).


It would be a means of closure to the families of the victims if this debris can be linked to the missing 777. At least we would know what happened. Not knowing is far worse.

Weird tangent, but does anyone get the impression that the Chinese family members' rage directed at the Malaysian government somehow indicates a real distrust of government in general?

Just read in the NYT that one person, upon receiving news of the plane's trajectory and disappearance, yelled that all governments are corrupt. Maybe Chinese citizens are nearing a breaking point with incompetent and thieving public officials? They insist there is a cover-up with the type of rabidity that only Farbio possesses. That leads me to believe that they are either crazy or, more likely, have deep rooted hostility towards government, particularly their own.

Also, something smells funny in my apartment.

The Chinese have been severally repressed for generations and have been used as close to slave labor as one can get, for the last 20 years for the enrichment of the govt and its corrupt cronies. Yeah I would say there is plenty of hostility and contempt for their own govt, but they all still remember the horrors of the brutality of the Communist rulers of recent memory and that is about all thats keeping them in line.

If, in the deep dark world of whatever journalist (liar) concocted this, one would have to assume that electronic and telephonic communication would be intercepted and/or jammed by any group of elite ninja commando death squadron that hijacked the plane.

That website would be a lot more credible if they didn't list every conspiracy associated with MH370.
