Ahhh yes. I suppose La Raza has a case for returning California and the whole Southwest to Mexico too.well, for my locality- EBMUD does a pretty good job of responsible infrastructure and waste management. some of our electricity is generated from the processing of food or, yanno, "organic" waste. so i haven't seen the need to.
do i think the natives at SR are justified in protecting their own drinking water, and protesting the violations of the Laramie treaty that have been happening for more than 150 years? fuck yes.Leave a comment:

let's correct that to "i believe it is within the right of the people potentially directly impacted"- i did not take any such action while i was out there.Leave a comment:

I understand that. Ever since the initial project approval, every other move on the project was political posturing. Including the Army Corps of Engineers decision to pause the project. Here is your proof of that. Obama was 100% behind the ACE's decision.dude are you intentionally ignoring what i'm saying?
the army corps of engineers- a *government actor*- said construction was to cease. just because you didn't read the news enough to see it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
drumpf overrode that with an EO- that's why people got pissed off and did something about it.
Administration changed hands and yes, President Trump directed his administration to reverse Obama's direction. Once again, within his rights as POTUS.
Let me deduce your reasoning here: Because President Trump changed an order from the previous administration to complete a previously approved project, you believe it is within your right to destroy private property.

The project was approved, otherwise it would have never been started.
Regardless, NO JUSTIFICATION.
Defend your position. Just lay it out here. Explain to us why its ok to vandalize/sabotage something you don't like, for any reason.Leave a comment:

You're wrong because I said.
That's a gross mis-characterization.
No, you're taking it out of context.
You're really wrong because I said so.

You do realise you are sounding like what you despise?
Also, I did not, and have not supported the current administration. I dont bend my principals based on what party someone is affiliated with. If someone has a good idea on either side I support it . If they are wrong they need to be called out on it. Blind loyalty is idiotic and bound to make one look foolish.Leave a comment:

You are out of your gourd. Environmentalist extremism is virtually the same as Islamic extremism. Both are scary. And neither one of them are the result or motivated by President Trump's administration.Leave a comment:
