Had no SA on this, upon reading she was 7 years old and looked at her sisters vagina. You people are royally fucked if you can interpret that in any way sexually, or as behaviors of a predator.

It boils down to who each caters to..... Milo caters to conservatives who are vehemently against all that he said. Dunham caters to liberals who think men have the right to pee along side little girls... Predictable outcome.... both are wrong but only one comes off as a hypocrite. Milo made the mistake of making the pervert into the good guy or victim which dont fly with the right wing, while the left tend to make excuses for the pervert and generaly appluads it.

The country is simply too large geographically for that. Which is why you can't really compare the US to many other countries because it's much easier to reach homogeneity when your country is only the size of Pennsylvania.

I guess as a corollary to that, geographic size has a lot to do with the fact that those smaller western countries could convince their people to move toward socialism where the larger countries that is much more difficult to do.
Yup, no doubt that the less populated areas of the country are more conservative. However, I would argue that those areas don't influence our culture like our more populated areas do. A lot of our popular culture comes from LA, NYC, etc., not to mention the headquarters of major media corporations, and of course there's reddit which has no real location, but certainly influential. All generally left leaning and IMO that makes the culture in these areas the dominant culture.
