As much as I don't like Trump, impeachment would be such a shitshow. Let his term run out, and FFS, I hope both parties find a decent moderate candidate.

You're correct. Most politicians lie, or at least say white lies or present only one side of a reality. Let's call it fair game. In the case of the "stable genius", his level of lying is never been seen before. He has elevated it to the art of the lie. Even dumb people realize he constantly lies and misrepresent events. But they won't recognize it if hose lies meet their views.

His guru, Roy Cohn, had him believe that whatever he says (even if it makes no sense at all) will become truth and will actually happen if he believes in it... So yeah. He had the biggest crowd at his inauguration speech...

Thanks for the response on that one, I think there's good reasons for & against ... it's a good topic. I'd also respond: don't you think this is a shitshow already? I do. ok, just brainstorming here...

Reasons for impeachment:
1. Trump repeatedly, brazenly committed Obstruction of Justice, depending on how you count 10-12 separate counts of Obstruction of Justice
2. Trump illegally diverted Federal Emergency relief funds away from Puerto Rico to Texas and Louisiana
3. Trump used the Federal government to settle personal scores with private business, such as with Amazon
4. Trump making illegal hush money payments to porn stars, etc
5. For Tax Fraud
6. For trying to make money out of the Presidency, for definitely breaking the Emoluments clause
7. For bringing the Presidency into such deep disrepute... to quote Lindsey Graham's reasoning during Bill Clinton's Impeachment hearings "Impeachment is not about punishment. Impeachment is about cleansing the Office. Impeachment is about restoring honor and integrity to the Office."

The Founders put Impeachment into the Constitution to hold the President accountable. I think it's pretty straightforward: If not Trump, who? If not now, when?

I think a lot of us were like, well, Trump campaigned as an isolationist, he would at least be less Imperialist than Clinton. It's all total BS.

Before he was even elected they were having meetings with the Saudis and the Israelis and the UAE and Erik Prince to gin up a war in Iran.
