If you read between the lines, he's referencing nuclear war since that is what DPRK is threatening to do to Guam (which their ICBMs don't last during re-entry, so moot point).

The only real thing DPRK can do is use artillery against Seoul, and it would be devastating to South Korea, no doubt.

Then DPRK would summarily have their asses handed to them.

Right, because a bunch of malnourished abused citizens along with military leaders who only do their job as a result of fearing for their own and their families lives are really going to be a threat if this dynasty gets squashed.

Ideal solution is Lil' Kim does something stupid resulting in the fewest possible causalities, the military is overwhelmed by the US and its allies, Kim is taken custody and the South does some nation building. It'll be a decades long process to overcome the psychological warfare his family has waged against their own people, but it's achievable. My guess is living under such a strong rule for so long, they'll open up to a new South Korean leader quite quickly. They don't have the heart to wage a guerilla war, they just want to eat.
