Yes and the 0 admin approved 20ish more private flights for his cabinets travel whims in the same time frame during his 1st term as well........ and also had the tax payers footing the bill for Panetta to fly back and forth from DC to CA every weekend....

Sleeve, I think you missed the point. Trump ran on the promise that he was in some way different than other politicians because he wasn't a politician. The behavior of Price (and many of the others in the Trump Administration) proves that Trump was talking out of his ass during the campaign, he's doing the very same things that he railed against while campaigning.

If you run as the "Drain the Swamp" candidate and then use the last admins example to justify your own "Swampish" behavior, color yourself exactly what you said you weren't going to be.

            A) Obama is gone, stop blaming him for everything.
            B) Sec Def needs the secure coms and ability to go anywhere in a seconds notice so not apples & oranges.
            C) What mbonder said.

              A) not blaming the 0 just making a comparison that his admin gets a pass and for doing it 20% more often. With in the same time frame while he was running the show.

              B) I agree with the comms and so on, but to spend 32k of tax payer dollars a flight to fly home nearly EVERY weekend seems a bit excessive does it not............

              C) dont really disagree with that line of thought, other than the fact sometimes other travel arrangements are needed to ferry people to where they need to be and still hold other important commitments or even large numbers of people. Not saying this was the case with the HHS guy, but there are plenty of reasons for people needing to take charter flights........ No more no less....

Trump's Travel Costs Are Staggering, Yet Five Years Ago He Complained About $1 Million Annually for Biden

Just the flights for two trips to Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida cost more than $1.2 million, Air Force records obtained by the conservative group Judicial Watch show.

Five years is a long time—a veritable eternity in the volatile U.S. political landscape—and how far we have come since June 13, 2012, exactly five years ago Tuesday, when Donald Trump tweeted about then–Vice President Joe Biden's travel costs, claiming they were a burden to taxpayers.

"Biden @VP Spends $1 Million Annually for Weekend Trips," Trump tweeted at the time, linking out a Newsmax story. The article noted that Biden was being shuttled to and from his home state of Delaware on the taxpayer's dime despite the vice president being tasked with "[rooting] out wasteful government spending." Newsmax calculated, as Trump's tweet suggested, that taxpayers were forking over about $1 million annually to shuttle Biden around.

Now, Biden's costs seem downright pedestrian when compared with the amount Trump has required of the taxpayer in his nearly five months in the White House.

Air Force records obtained by the conservative group Judicial Watch show that just the flights for two trips to Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida cost more than $1.2 million.

Through his first 100 days, Trump spent one-quarter of his time in Florida, costing taxpayers some $7 million, according to Judicial Watch. Exact details of Trump's total travel costs remain somewhat murky until official documents trickle out, but prior rough estimates suggested that in just a few months Trump may have cost taxpayers about one-third of what President Barack Obama cost through eight years in office.

As a private citizen, Trump often complained about Obama taking time off or playing golf. "President Obama has a major meeting on the N.Y.C. Ebola outbreak, with people flying in from all over the country, but decided to play golf!" he tweeted in 2014.

Democratic lawmakers didn't seem to forget that. "For someone who complained about President Obama traveling a lot, he's going to supersede President Obama's travel, all eight years [of it], within a year, which is just absolutely ridiculous," Arizona Representative Ruben Gallego told NPR in April.

Sebelius Calls Price's Private Chartered Plane Travel ‘Stunning’

Former Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius called her successor Tom Price’s repeated use of chartered aircraft “stunning” and said the only time she ever flew a private jet while in office was to visit a trio of remote Alaskan villages.

During her tenure, Sebelius told a roundtable of Bloomberg reporters and editors, health department officials were required to fly economy class for all travel less than 12 consecutive hours. Her lone charter flight, she said, was in a propeller plane her staff hired to visit three villages inaccessible by road or commercial aircraft.

“I have no idea who came up with this notion and where it came from, and the notion you could spend $400,000 in what, 5 months, is stunning,” Sebelius said of Price’s travel practices.

Donald Trump’s health secretary is under scrutiny for traveling at least two dozen times this year by private charter plane, costing taxpayers more than $400,000, according to documents obtained by Politico. In an interview Sunday with Fox News, Price said he was suspending his use of private jets and acknowledged “the optics in some of this don’t look good.”

The department’s inspector general is investigating the matter, and Price said his agency would “cooperate fully” with the review.

“We want to make certain that we have the full confidence of not just this administration, but the American people,” he said.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Monday the travel wasn’t approved by the White House, but that there were likely “certain instances” when private charter travel would be appropriate.

Sebelius said that during the Obama administration, she was subject to strict rules on booking travel.

“The rules that I thought were the rules that we operated under, were: commercial travel -- economy, unless you were on a plane trip that was more than 12 consecutive hours, which meant that typically you were going to Asia or Africa, and then you could book a business class ticket,” she said. “But that was it for a business class ticket; there was never a charter anything.”

Sebelius also said she was struck that Price hadn’t reached out to her since becoming secretary. The two haven’t spoken “since he yelled at me in hearings,” she said. Sebelius said she invited each of her predecessors, including from Republican administrations, to visit HHS headquarters as she was beginning her job as secretary.

“I have not had a conversation with him, and I just find that remarkable,” she said.

This post was updated August 1, 2017.
For years, President Donald Trump criticized his predecessor Barack Obama for playing golf while on the job.
"Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf," he tweeted Oct. 13, 2014.

But since taking office, Trump has been a regular visitor at his own golf clubs in Florida and Virginia — so far outpacing Obama in the amount of time he spends on the green.
As Trump’s presidency goes forward, we’ll keep tally of how many times he plays golf and how that compares with Obama at the same point in his presidency on what we’re calling our Trump Golf Tracker.
                          The score so far?

So as of August 1 in the first year of each man's presidency, the score is Trump 21, Obama 11.
Obama’s first game as president was April 26, 2009. He went on to play 333 times total over his eight years, according to CBS White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, who tracked Obama’s games.
It’s not as easy to track Trump’s game as you might think.
His staff has on several occasions declined to confirm he played golf while spending the day at his golf club. So in some cases, we have to rely on reporters’ observations and those of private citizens who spotted Trump on the course and posted pictures on social media.
