Here in OK, teachers went on strike to get pay raises and funding increases. What happened as soon as they got it and the fervor died down? The legislature went back and started passing laws removing all the funding they had just signed into law.

I disagree that only bad people run for office. Look at John McCain. I disagree with many things he believes but I think he does what he feels is best for his constituents.

I said he won't apologize and that it is meaningless if he did. What you are missing/refusing to see/ignoring is no one before him lied at the rate/audacity/way he does.

He his entire political career is based on the birther lie. He lied was wiretapped by Obama, now he has turned the FBI investigation into his campaign that used an informant into a spy that is "the worst political scandal since Watergate" which is laughable.

Honestly, the problem that I have with the way most average citizens think about politicians is that the average citizen believes that they can see all the variables that the politician can. This is simply impossible, especially given the amount of classified information there is with the increasingly complex cyber world. I'm not on the inside, but I would imagine that politicians are frequently required to lie, or appear to lie, because they know more than the public does and they make decisions based on way more knowledge than the public has access to.

I'm not a Trump supporter, but he has more information than any of us. I'm not saying he doesn't lie, however, I find it nearly irrelevant that he lies frequently. The media has attached itself to lies that do not affect Trump's running of the country. Who gives a shit about his past dalliances with various women, it does not matter. I wish people would get over it, he's not going to come out and admit to anything, he doesn't have to, so how about worry about something that actually matters?
