I work with two otherwise intelligent people that are Trumpers. They say the bombs last week were not real, they were a Dem plot to demonize the right, that Trump is the only one telling the truth and that the left is evil.

But even still nearly every one of them will vote for him in 2020 unless his challenger across the isle will come come out as Pro Life and go after Planed Parenthood, and denounce the LGBTs..... He will get their votes anyway

Millennials will act like the youngest generation do every election...generally not show up. The youngest voters are always a small minority because of a number of variables, most importantly that they don't feel directly affected and they also don't feel as though they can create a difference.

It's time tested over many generations. Older age groups will participate in much greater numbers. People become more conservative over time, which is one of the few reasons why the country hasn't completely been overrun by liberal policies. If it were just based on sheer numbers, conservatives would have been in the minority and never had the ability to elect anyone at the presidential level since Reagan.
