Let’s talk about Antifa.

It was a pretty underwhelming episode, just made clear some of the particulars of the situation. He was there for a men's rights speaker, he was not participating in any of the Proud Boys nonsense yet he was assaulted for it. Also learned that the mayor of Portland doubles as the Police Commissioner. -

I haven't, that you say it's worth watching, means I'll find time today (and I generally like the wide berth of guests that Joe has on his show, just haven't watched this one yet.)Anyone listen to the Rogan podcast with Andy Ngo? I still don't have a real opinion of the man himself, but I'm certainly skeptical of him being the alt-right mouthpiece he's been portrayed as. He's a soft and I'll go so far as to say non-inflammatory speaker who certainly doesn't speak with the amount of passion and energy people on the extreme ends often do. If you're provoked so much by his words that you chose to respond with violence then I'd wager you're the problem. Rogan brought up the all too real point we've all been aware of as well, that if violence is something the left wants to bring to the table, they're going to be gobsmacked and in very bad shape when the right chooses to escalate it. We all know what side of the aisle the worst of the worst come from, and the left is currently poking the bear.
I'm still waiting for the soybois to come protest down below the mason-dixon line.
I wonder what would happen if these KKK wanna-be's came to OKC and started sucker punching old people.Leave a comment:

I wasn't "demanding links" or telling you to "head down to the library" you dramatic numbskull. The OED is online and most library cards give you free access. You could probably use the same device you just posted with.
I'm down with some less adversarial discourse. Got any pics of your 300? I dig those bikes.Leave a comment:

sheer laziness is demanding links and telling me to head down to the library when i disagree on the definition of a word. this is really not worth the time or effort anymore. let's talk about bmws in some other threadLeave a comment:

Well too bad you weren't in Philadelphia when antifa thugs assaulted those Marine reservists attending the Marine Corp Ball. Look at all the charges you could have helped Tom Keenan avoid.

Poss Instrument Of Crime W/Int
Terroristic Threats W/ Int To Terrorize Another
Simple Assault
Recklessly Endangering Another Person

given that i attached to the marines in iraq, i can probably do a better job of spotting one than you.
you're starting on a false premise- "filibustering" is not what we did down there.Yes, it's actual "documented history", whatever that means, but you haven't demonstrated how it supports your assertion. What makes you believe things wouldn't be worse without our filibustering in Latin America?Leave a comment:

it supports my assertion because it's a history of how we helped create this mess? i don't have an "inability to define" this statement, i just thought you might spend a little more time reading for yourself rather than looking for another excuse to cast vitriol.
i did not say it's the primary cause- someone put those words in my mouth. climate change affecting arable land in the tropics is another. it's still absolutely a factor, and well, if you're inclined to throw out the actual root causes of this problem in the discussion, we're probably not going to get too far on agreeing on a solution.
I suppose any criticism is vitriol to a group that can't tell the difference between Marine Corp reservists and Nazis, but perhaps "cruel and bitter criticism" is, like beauty, in the eye of the beholder.

...if the "pail of sand" you are talking about is ACTUAL DOCUMENTED HISTORY, then yes, i will continue to do that.
and there is a certain amount of irony in accusing me of hiding in an echo chamber when i knew full well this thread would raise dissenting opinions.Leave a comment:

So what your saying is I dont like your hypothesis so its therefore not worthy of discussion or consideration and continue to bury your head in a pail of sand to continue to ride your equally hypothetical train of thought. Only real difference between the thoughts is one fits your personal echo chamber and therefore your own narrative is reinforced by people equally as jaded as yourselfLeave a comment:
