Let's try and guess a 1/4 time - round two

Ok, so my first attempt was on street tires with crappy shocks, best result was

    Reaction 0.220
    E.T. 14.748
    MPH 97.275
    60ft 2.210

2500lbs with b35swap/g260.6, and 3.46 rear end. This time on 225/50/15 kumho v710 and re-valved bilstein sports in place of worn out shocks.

    Any guesses?

With that rear end you will have to shift to 4th before the light I assume. So I'll say 14@101.

stiffer shocks might hurt you, reaction time does NOT affect your e/t or trap and your mph should be good for 13's.

my guess is 14.4 at 96-98 depending on what your old tires were. i'm guessing your 60 foot was around 2.2 2.3 maybe?

lower your tires to about 20-24 psi at most.

                14.1 @ 98

I've done the 1/4 with v710's a few times, my trap speed was 1-2 mph higher with street tires, but the ET was lower with the v710's. That was in my m50 car.

I was 14.4@94 with my m50, now I have s50 cams and am hoping for the exact time/speed I estimated yours at.

Did mine eons ago with 3.73 with getrag 250 m50 on Kumho v710 and car ran 14.1 at 97. Tires were not meant for drag racing. Too hard and they tend to just wheel hop. Set of soft sidewalls would be better.

Going with 14.1 and maybe 96-98

general rule of them is also spinning equals higher mph and hooking equals quicker e/t

                            14.6@97 with a 2.1 60ft.

At the same track with the same power as last time or bet's off. $5 paypal if you go over 99mph.

Tires: I don't care what you put on there you won't go sub 2.0.

This time I will take the tweeter panels.

if you dont pull a 2.00 flat 60' time with v710s i'll be disappointed. slow down. focus on your launch. dont worry about the light. it doesnt matter if it takes you a second to launch. make sure you launch that car perfectly.

you should be able to hit low 14s pretty easily. i voted 13.9-14.1.

first run out, drop the clutch at 6k rpm and let the v710s hook up. see how that works out for you. then work from there.
