    I grabbed a set from TurnerMotorsport. 90mm, the excessive length is because I like the look. Something shorter is much more ideal for swapping wheels, unless they're absurdly wide.




    You can see them poking out a bit here (8inch wide TRM wheels)

      That's perfect actually lol... I literally couldn't have asked for a better photo cause I'll be mounting a set of 15x8 TR C1s lol..... Thanks

        Do you guys loctite these in or just torque the hell out of them?

          Red loctite.

          You also need to CLEAN the threads in the hub before install, this is where most people go wrong. It does not take much torque to install. Also have to remember to break the nuts loose by hand before using an impact gun or they are more likely to loosen up.

            never had one back out in the years I've been using them.

              Haha glad I could help then! I also have a set of grey 15x7 C1s and the studs look just as good on them.

              And my studs came with some red loctite.

              During installation, one of the allen holes on the studs rounded out, though I was certainly not using excessive force. I e-mailed turner motorsport about it and they sent a replacement, and said to install by using a double nut on the stud. Just something to be aware of.

                Thanks, I was planning on going with Bimmerworld and most likely the 75mm kit. Are you running a spacer at all? What size rubber, suspension, etc... Any rubbing? I haven't mounted mine up yet (thursday I will) and just trying to get an idea of what I'll be dealing with. If I need to run a spacer, I might consider the 90mm if it'll be like a 15mm+ spacer, if not, then the 75mm should be more than enough.

                  i can run e36 DS2 and DS1 rims (17x7.5? 41et) with 15mm spacers on the front with the IE 60mm studs. They cost 2.25 just for the stud. They only carry 19mm nuts which is stupid, so i bought mine at advance for about a dollar each. Cheap Cheap. I've been drifting like this for two.5 years. My wheels have come on and off probably 150 thausand times since and the only stud that failed was cause it was torqued with an air gun... Watch out for tire shops. They'll screw em up if spun quickly, they'll gall them them right up.

                    I wouldn't trust those cheap studs with my life. I broke 2 of them in a couple sessions and one more was near failure.

                        When I do wheel studs I use the 75mm Vorschlag kit. I chase the threads of the hub with the appropriate tap. I put a few drops of red loctite on the stud and install with an allen key. I torque the lugs to 90ft/lbs (may be overkill, I know) Then I go for a drive around the block and retorque the lugs. After that its just a matter of taking the lugs off each time, no need to mess with them after.

                          Damn. I need some studs. Getting my ass handed to me by lug bolts and no hub centric spacers for the 16x9 rears.

                            Spot-on, except I used 90mm studs. This is exactly how I did it on both cars.

                            I like the look, the functionality and if you go with 90mm you can always throw on up to a 20mm spacer if you wanted to run something different.

                            Here's a pic of the 318 with 15/20mm spacers F/R and 90mm studs.

                              No spacer. Mine are bought new from TireRack, so offset and hub are perfect for the e30.

                              That said, 15x8 is "aggressive fitment" according to their site. Tires are 205/55/15 Yokohama S Drives (not good track tires). I've had no fender rubbing issues, but I've trimmed some of the front fender liner to clear. My fender liner was missing some hardware though, and seemed a bit bent. And oddly it ONLY rubbed the liner when I was backing the car up and turning sharply. Time to replace some rubber bushings I think.

                              Car is lowered about an inch, on something more or less equivalent to H&R/Billies.

                              My 15x7s with 205/50/15 Falken Azenis had zero problems with the fender liner before I chopped it.
