There are no ribs but custom ones can be made and attached to cage if preferred, although not necessary. Once the roof is riveted on all corners it is solid and will be one piece with the car. Weight is about 7.5 and pricing will be posted on our site soon.

Thanks and have a great day,

How many plys is the roof and are they all carbon? Are you worried about the carbon breaking up into sharp pieces and causing a safety issue in a rollover.

The sunroof panel alone weigh more than the carbon roof itself. My stock sunroof cover on the scale was 7.5 lbs with the reinforcement layer remove. Using the carbon roof for the purpose of deleting only the sunroof will not add more weight to the top of the car.

yeah, but you're missing the point. this replaces the entire roof skin, not just the sunroof panel. im not sure if there would be a driving feel difference, but it's definitely saving weight at the very top of the car.

This wouldn't be a bad idea if your stock roof is trashed.
