    Video on track with S54s

I think I start posting under this name just after this weekend and don't think I ever put it up. Definitely the Buckeye school has very talented instructors and mine was very helpful in cutting about 3 seconds off my laptimes, from the earlier in the week on Monday when I was with the Lotus track day.

I "fixed" the oil leak I experienced Monday with JB and was off Friday to get back down to Greencastle. E30s make for great track cars as they are easy to diagnose and keep up. Besides the oil leak that was the result of a speed bump hitting and stripping the drain plug after the USGP, it's been pretty solid trooper.

Only issues on the weekend were that I had brake fade so bad I had to stand on the brakes to slow (HPS switched to HP+ and a quick bleed did wonders).

Azenis are great tires - 205's had him convinced I was running R-comps. Car had stock diff, stock power with 140rwhp to the rear wheels, and 300/475 GC's. M3 was faster for most of the weekend but the nice gent in the Coupe kept asking what was under the hood along with a few E36 M3s as well.

nice job - your driving looks very smooth. in fact, I feel kinda sleepy now :p

and of course, it's always fun to own other drivers in an "inferior" machine. :)

Very well done. +1 on looking very smooth.

I wondered why you said S54s, and not M3s. :)

      God's chariot. ;)

Lance, you know you are just itching to get out to the Big Boy track next year.

NASA has a weekend on April - dates not set yet - will be the 12-13 or 19-20.

I found a hotel that rivals the Motel 6 Resort & Spa at Putnam.

Thats awesome. Plus one to you showing everyone what a good driver can do. People always ask why I'm not crazy about new high hp cars.. this video is a perfect example to show them.

thanks for the positive comments guys.

Dave, definitely would like to get to MO this year. I might need new RTABs though... and need to fix the hanger on my muffler too.

Hanger - get a bracket at Autozone, bolt it to the trunk floor in the same general vicinity and use the OE donut.

RTABs - get the IE or AKG urethanes and just slap them bitches in there.

                        :-)

Slap 'em in there, it's that easy Dave? LOL

I need to do the same to mine, I have the front end all done, now some time needs to be spent on the rear.

Yup! Remove trailing arm, remove RTABs. Installation is the reverse of removal, right? :giggle:
