Same story, due in late May-early June. I think colors are pretty much set but since it's not official I'm not going to say what they might be. Same with offsets but I think these will be just fine.
15x8's need to be at least et20 or bust. i know you know better, i just have to be vocal to cover the grounds. et22 will NOT be a good idea.
i didnt vote colors because i would be choosing the least popular colors and on that note, i dont care what color they are as long as they are light and strong and to proper specs. if you need another vote, put me in for anything except black.
Mark, what you think about tracking the cabrio. I saw e30pq's roll cage and want to do that.
I cant justify an m3 now, or anytime soon...
I can't speak for your part of California but up here in the PNW the only club I know of that allows open cars at its track days is the Alfa club, that is unless you have a rollbar of course. Then your choices are more open. I'd imagine that the clubs down there have similar restrictions.

Ultra Dev 5000,
I think once you get a taste of DE's/track time, you will want something more suitable. Sell one of your cars and get a E30 sedan or a coupe :D I've ridden in your cabby - it's nice for the street, but shaky as all get out for the track. There's probably a good reason why I have never seen an E30 cabby at the track...

That's probably because the e30 cabrio is banned at BMWCCA HPDEs for its complete lack of rollover protection, as highlighted in their operation manual, unless it has an SCCA-compliant rollbar.

He isn't opposed to installing the necessary safety gear. Miata's with rollbars/cages are commonplace at NASA events, as are E30's, but not the E30 cabby.
