That's exactly what I said when I scrolled down and saw the second picture.

I was talking with a man that sells Miata wheels (Emilio) and he mentioned that every Rota he measured was out of spec in some way, most typically roundness and concentricity.

Some scary pictures in that thread.

The second picture looks like a pretty cool wheel design IMO.

wansn't there just a thread about a guy who custom ordered like 100 rota wheels for some bmw guys (prob e36 bmf) and rota drilled the 5 lug pattern on the 4lug hub and this guy had to refuse the whole shipment 'cuase the lug bolts wouln't even fit because the holes where so close to the edge of the rim thus probably making them dangerous as well...... FUCK Rota's they were good once upon a time.

I remember reading about that on Bimmerforums. The worse part is, he refused the shipment then Rota turned around and sold the wheels to another selller/distributor. So those bum wheels are still out there :tsk:

Wheels are indeed selling on eBay as we speak. I was in the GB for the wheels, but after receiving such badly made prototype, we decided to cancel the GB.
