Traffic school may cost money, but Im sure that it would cost less then paying extra money for your insurance in the long run.

truth! ^ ALWAYS take traffic school if its an option. Take it online, and complete it really fast. Questions are usually on a page after the information, as far as they know you could copy all the info to a text or word document, then search for the answers and get it all done really fast.

its ok my allready told teh ins. dude i got a speeding ticket and yet i only pay 51 a month in LA haha but yea there goes 400 bux in 2 weeks to pay it off or try to get another date set up but i dout that, i have to see teh judge so yea haha owell

What you guys fail to realize is that lawyers are fucking expensive. Hiring a lawyer and paying his fees + paying whatever he gets it knocked down to is going to cost at least as much as the original speeding ticket, if not more. If it's not a misdemeanor or higher, it's not worth it.

It's worth it in the long run since you'll be paying so much more for insurance.

It's also worth it if it's the last point the state needs to take away your driver's license.
