Yeah, as Tuman said, we're trying to keep it low-key in that regard. That's the premise for implementing the potluck.

I have updated the first post with Raffle information.

At this time, checking the weather, I see a high of 56°, Partly Sunny, winds around 8mph. Nothing unusual for a January day at the beach.

Oh! and I almost forgot. LOT 2 LOT 2 LOT 2. Do not go into the first parking lot. Keep going to the second lot. Do not go all the way to the third lol.

We will be hosting a simple lottery; there will be one cash prize coupled with a donation based on the number of tickets sold. Tickets will be sold for $5. The winner will be announced at 1pm, and will be chosen based on the classic hand-in-bucket type of drawing.
50% of sales will be donated to a fundraiser for fire relief (TBD), 40% of the sales will be awarded to the raffle winner, and 10% of sales will be collected by us for firewood/supplies of the meet.

Dockweiler Meet is cancelled**** from being held at Dockweiler Beach. Seriously, and yes extremely short notice.

The meet is now going to be held, yes tomorrow morning, at Junipero Beach (in Long Beach).

Extremely sorry, and it'll be a miracle if anyone checks r3v the night before. I'm trying yall.

It was a great time! Totally loved the new location. I don't know if we're going to do this again next year, but I'm glad this was a good event as it was.
