unfortunately unless you bought new switches or can test them in a working environment there's no way to know your switches are working even if you have two to try

I think that is wrong.. There is suppose to be a loose brown wire that you just clipp off, tape it and tuck it somewhere..
Look up under Diy pages for e36 conversion and its there.

Also look if you blew a fuse.

wow really does look like mine minus the spoiler and seats obviously some more stuff. nope no sale thread yet I am doing a budget tonight after my resume to determine what i can honestly do and can't afford for this car.

So I tried to wire up e36 window switches..

followed this wire to wire guide..


Followed the bottem left for blue base switches.
CAR (passenger side) - e36 switches

1. Black to black
2. violet/gray to blue
3. brown to black/yellow
4. brown to green/gray
5. green/gray to blue/green

SO its not working... tried two separate switches too... what y'all think?

I have some blue bases I've been meaning to instal but no dremel to make them fit lol...
