I just redid the coolant on my m30 as well. Must be air in the system when refilling. Did you loosen the bleeder screw on the thermostat housing while refilling the coolant? I had the same problem with the temp heating up fast. Removed all coolant through the radiator drain plug. When refilling I loosen the bleeder screw then added the coolant. You can here the air coming out of the bleeder screw. When coolant starts to come out of the bleeder screw, tighten it. After that no problemo no more heating up :) After running it make sure to double check the coolant level to be safe.Hey guys, so I am kind of freaked out after trying to change my radiator fluid.
I drained my radiator of all the fluids but not the block since I didn't feel like looking all around for the bolt. When I went to refill through the overflow tank since I don't have cap on the radiator, it only took like two cups of water and that's it. I ran the car for 5 minutes and there was barely any burping and water level stayed the about the same. The temp went up fast and I just turned off the car so it wouldn't overheat.
Here is my setup

Should I just run it again tomorrow and se if it burps more or is there a special way to refill the radiator?? Also, I had a fan that would automatically turn on when the temp hit the halfway point and now it doesn't get tripped to turn on.Comment

Gonna be a crazy time in Germany man, remember German chicks are a bit rougher but twice as fun when you will never see them again and are over thousands of miles away with no real contact
Just don't be a fool German wrap your tool before you blitzkreig, unless it's on the face...then... well, you know my other motto "meet, greet, skeet" :rofl:Comment
