Has anyone bought the GE keyless entry with the flip keys? Trying to find a place that will cut the blanks. Thanks!

I went to one and he wouldn't do it. Something about the blanks not the same length? Just have to try another one. Thanks!Comment

Yep.
They have to cut it the opposite of how they usually do it. If they usually start from the base (not the tip of the key) they have to start from the tip of the key and cut towards the base.
That's what my locksmith told me, and it worked out perfectly.Comment

Fitment is OK. Needs a 3-5mm spacer in the rear and my 12mm spacer up front to look proper. Again 5 lug suspension from an E36 M3 and 318ti rear. Wheels are 17x8 et 20.
IMO 225/35/17 would look better (only 1 choice of tire that I know of though) but it's setup for my 235/40/17 square setup on D-Force LTS which are 17x8.5 et 40, so I am not going to drop and raise the car multiple times per year. Thinking though that there's too much wheel/tire mass and it would probably be quicker on 215/40/17s square on a 7.5 or 8in rim. 16s would be ideal but fitment and tire choice are too much of a hassle. Sure I'd lose lateral grip, but gain accel back out of the corners. So in retrospect, I need more motor ;-) OH wait...that's bad thinking.Last edited by R3Z3N; 08-18-2012, 10:50 PM.Comment
