Strike two. First car in Washington was found to be not as seller advertised, second car I tried to get turned out to be owned by a flake. We are going to test drive the third car this Saturday... hopefully this one will be the new daily driver and the search will be over.
Cheers,

I have a MMATS M600.2D which is 600watts. The sub is rated for 500w. Looks like I will be upgrading to their new P3.0 10" which is 700w and new this year. When I bought it the P2.5 500w sub was their highest rated 10" sub. The brand is made in the US. However I believe I blew the amp as well since the sub shorted due to burning up. The rest of the system is powered by an Audison SR5.
Here's the stuff:
Mmats Class D mono amps
Mmats P2.5 subs
I honestly don't know what to think. I feel disappointed by both the installers and the manufacturer. The installers cranked up everything. It hit amazingly hard, but the sub lasted a month or so. Replaced/fixed for free, and I upgraded to the MMATS stuff instead of running the sub off of the 5 channel amp to get more punch/volume as well as a bigger sub, and now this again. If they don't replace the sub/amp for free again (they have a no questions asked lifetime replacement policy) then I am going to remove the sub/amp. I did it for fun, and it helped my weight distribution and handling on track even though it's not ideal.Last edited by R3Z3N; 01-02-2013, 07:03 PM.

Wow I didn't think you would be into the Audio thing since you are a track racer / performance kind of guy.-Art

Being it's still a DD, and I won't gut it, AND the weight distribution is terrible with the S52, I decided to toss some weight in the back after a couple autoX sessions. With the box in the back, it brings the weight distribution to 55F/45R. Still bad, but feels SO MUCH BETTER when balancing on throttle than it did without the box. This is why I vow to own a Formula Ford or Formula Vee for track use...I hate to compromise like this.
I'm a big audiophile anyway. Time without music is hard, and when away from my Genelec monitors at home, I become sad...Last edited by R3Z3N; 01-02-2013, 08:57 PM.
