thoughts? The guy got it from a friend who works at a tow yard. He hasnt driven it much because it doesnt have plates. Car has the typical problems w/ sunroof, cluster, etc.He doesnt want much money for it though and there is a 5 speed swap I can pick on my move down from here as well. I would love a 190 as a daily beater next to my E30. My brother has a grey market 16v and my dad had a 8v 2.3 that was a fun beater.

Doesnt look so bad. Looks better than my 190 I'll tell you that much lol. Wont get as great fuel mileage as my 2.2, but you should still be fine. Low 30s. Im around 30-37 with a auto trans, but I can easily break 40mpg with a 5 speed. Thats with my foot firmly planted all day haha.

^ It was free since there was a shit ton of back registration fees and penalties... so not truly free. I was told there were not fees and such associated with the car, which obviously at this rate was a lie and the whole situation frankly pisses me off for a car that's not running.

Just scrap that thing.

How can I keep the car if I can't register it without paying insane fees?

The problem is that it would be upwards of $500 for a non-working ETA. Not really a steal if you ask me. Hell some dude would have given me $500 for my wrecked vert.
