call me an idiot, but Id rather use the right tool in this situation and not break a good windshield. If someone is a pro with the screw driver, then I'll let them try...

Use a plastic putty knife or scraper.

Anybody know the amp draw for fuse 21 while the car is off. I had a no start situation yesterday, the battery was low. Fuse 21 is drawing .13 milliamps. Is that normal?

          It is an 87 325is.

I'm having the shittiest time trying to bleed the coolant system after my hg. The gauge is acting up to make it worse. Any tips?

M30 engine? I had the same problem after my head gasket install and I changed my thermostat and that seemed to fix it. It was newer with one of those bleeder holes already drilled in it.

I also would drive around the block, let it heat up, turn off the car and slowly open the coolant cap and let the air bleed and tighten up just as scolding water came out and repeat like 10 times.

I'm also assuming you know about the bleeder valve, I think it's an 8mm...

I'm sure its fairly straightforward, but I am now DDing the E30, so I need it to be done right the first time. I typically have to do things a few times before I do it right! haha who wants to help. ;D

                      Reposting this as a reminder...

For those of you who want to get to BimmerFest early this year, park in the Vintage Corral.

Here's the info from SoCal Vintage BMW who's organizing the Vintage Corral:
Part of what makes our participation there so smooth and easy is the planning, and we really like having everyone in the Corral and parked by 8AM. This way you can relax and not have the hassle of waiting in line to get on the grounds with everyone else. Meetup is at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center and you must be there by 7:15AM SHARP! Bring $20 cash for entry and for another $15 we'll have the black SoCal Vintage "E Chassis" tshirts that everyone loved from last year - we have a bunch left.
                      I'll be there!

We would also elevate the front of the car up only about 1 or 2 feet on a rack to make the air go to the coolant tank or bleeder screw area and bleed the air pockets out.
