So did a little reaserch, and it looks like I can buy a fan delete kit for about the same price as a clutch fan, is there any reason no one suggested this? I like the idea of taking off the load from the motor. Also the two kits I looked up one from understeer was $135 and the other from bimmer world is only $65 any suggestions?

A good electric fan (Spal) is $100+ plus cost of mounts, relay, wiring. Just stick with OEM.
