I seem to have an oil leak... I wish I could trace it up to the valve cover gasket but I don't see it originating that high. Looks like it's the head gasket but I can't confirm it, not until I clean the area first.Comment

Has anyone ever dropped an entire drivetrain, subframes and all from the E30s? In theory it seems like it would be fairly "easy" to swap it that way. Unbolt subframes (front and rear) and other stuff like the tie-rods, exhaust, fuel lines, c101, etc . This is assuming that you have a lift. My mind wanders while at work and just got curious. Ive seen people do it with the fronts alone, but Im wondering about front to back, the whole thingSimon
