BMA is great, I order and pickup there for almost everything. And their website does not nearly list everything they stock, or all the options
    +1 call them

Also the oem is rein owned by continental iirc

Hmph, I might be getting a different set of Recaros for my car. What are peoples thoughts on the Topline? Seems a little too "new" for an E30, but I need something to fit a 5 point harness into, and they would (pretty much) fit the bill and still look good

BMA really is great. Build a relationship with them it's worth it. Sometimes if my list is long I'll call them with a heads up that I'm emailing a pricing inquiry with all the part numbers. Be sure to tell them you want OEM.

                Definitely avoid Uro brand anything!

For the hoses, OEM BMW is nice but if you go aftermarket something like Rein or CRP does the job.

Turns out the Toplines arent the ones I thought they were when I searched for the pics of them online. I need seats with slots to fit 5 point harnesses. Im back to trying to convince the guy to sell me the SRDs again. Im just paranoid that they are the fake chinese ones. I had a set of those in my old 77 rabbit back in the day, Not very comfortable...

Fake Recaros are getting harder to spot. I'm shocked Recaro hasn't gone after them.

Do you guys believe that a dirty distributor cap and rotor will cause a long crank and shut off the car?

Anyone's school use Moodle? I need help searching for a file that my Prof. swears he posted, yet I'm coming up short finding it.
                            I'm almost certain it's him.

Dirty - no, but if the contact points are fuzzy/black that would create a running and maybe starting issue.
I remember long time ago sanding them down, which cleared up some hesitation and idle problems before buying a new one.
Wish I just went wasted spark.

Anyone know somebody that can help my cousin with his megasquirt setup? We have an old system that (I believe) has the wires soldered directly to the board. We want to solder the wires to a plug and a plug soldered to the board so it could be easily removed.

I wonder if theres a way to get the plug that the ms2 uses so if we upgrade later we wont have to change the wiring and can just upgrade the box.
