I think I'm done with the e30s though. :(

The feels are real.
I understand, which is why mine has been literally a weekend toy for the past few years. I can't come to sell it though because I still love tinkering.

You just did an S50 swap after all this time...now you're talking about "real" power. Turbo M52's can make "real" power...unless you're talking about an old muscle car or something.

edit: If you want to feel some real power I'll take you for a ride in the m42 car. That'll give you plenty "seat of the pants" feels of you know what I mean

At work we just finished building a roll cage in an E30 M3. (I'll get around to sharing a few pics). The car itself had no engine while we had it. The owner plans to either put the S14 back in, or, for something more interesting, an N20. And no, I didn't misspell M20.

That's one of the problems with 24v E30s. They are such a good package that you forget how quick and balanced the car still is.

Ed, I won't try to sway you one way or another but definitely explore all the options before making any changes. I was so determined to sell my car, but the more I thought about it, the less sense it made.

edit: Anyone have this clip (#6) for the airbox that connects the MAF to the airbox? I dont know if its exclusive to the E34/ E36 or if its the same clip used to hold the top and bottom of the M20 airbox together so if someone has a spare sitting around I would appreciate it

I'd be content with either two. But i get what you're feeling, a couple months after the 24v swap you get used to it.
